MSCA Employees
Director: Elisabeth Ginder
I, Elisabeth Ginder, have been the Director of the Middletown Senior Citizens Association for over 3 years. My mother was an RN in a Nursing home growing up and took me to work whenever she could. It quickly became one of my favorite things to do and started my passion for helping seniors and the elderly. I am fascinated by things I have learned from them and have always kept their wise words and stories in mind throughout my life.
I have continued to work with older individuals through multiple different jobs over the years. Directly before the center, I worked with Intellectually Disabled Adults who lived in Group Homes in the community. I have an Associate’s Degree in Healthcare Information Technology and I have raised three children on my own, two that are now adults.
Food Manager Gilda Ifield
My name is Gilda Ifield, Food Manager of the Middletown Senior Citizens Association for over 3 years.
I spent 25+ years in Corporate America as a Customer Service Specialist serving people in all capacity.
For as long as I could remember, I witness first hand our mother serving others. So naturally, it’s in my DNA. Being of Honduran decent my family knew all too well what it was to go without/not having enough. We saw our mother put others first even in our lack. This led to the birthing of our family foundation, Ifield Helping Hands which exist and committed to helping and loving the least of them.
At MSCA I make an intentional effort to serve with love, grace, compassion and kindness. I truly believe that we should love others as we love ourselves and at MSCA I get to do that on a daily basis with grace.
I am mother of two children, and grandmother of 2. In my spare time I love spending time with my family.
Operation Manager: Maryanne Gallelli
Hello, my name is Maryanne Gallelli. I have been the Operations Manager for MSCA for a little over a year. I came to our center in 2022 as a full time volunteer and assisted our Director, Elisabeth Ginder, in the office. My background was in the administrative field for the insurance and banking industries. I was able to apply my skills and broaden my knowledge during my volunteer work at the center. As time went on, I became an employee and filled the role of Office Assistant in 2023 and then to Operations Manager in 2024. My role at our center has afforded me life lessons, compassion, empathy and a huge dose of humor as the Office Manager. My days are never the same and always filled with new adventures and wearing a variety of hats but at the end of the day, I am amazed at how much I've learned about myself and so many others. I try to bring a good attitude, smile. kind word and sense of humor each day I come to work, and what I've received back is nothing short of fantastic! My hope is that our center continues to thrive and we may service all the needs of our seniors and give them a place of safety, friendship and sense of belonging.
